In one of our daily family's daily prayers, I had a vision. It was projected at the walls of the master's bedroom(for some reason, we had our prayer time there from our home's altar...all four of us were seated comfortably in a circular position, facing each other). In my vision, the walls were filled with numerous ghostly faces. They were wailing. There was no sound. I winked and rubbed my eyes several times but, everywhere I looked, they were all around us...their sad faces projected at the four walls of the room. I had to keep the occurrence to myself at that moment so as not to disturb the prayer session. As the vision was going on, I felt that the ghostly faces' presence was not to bother or scare me but, they were asking for prayers...that their concerns be included during our supplications.
The vision lasted for almost 30 minutes until our prayer session was over. I shared the vision later with my family who readily supported my suggestion to include a prayer for the Souls in Purgatory in our daily prayers. Since then, we've always offered a petition for them. My vocal prayer for this: "We now pray for our departed friends and loved ones, relatives, family members, benefactors, for those whom nobody prays for and for those who are still roaming around the earth who need God's mercy." The last part is for the numerous unforgettable ghostly faces who were crying for help in my vision.
This was the start of our Apostolate.
